All of that trash was from a grow operation, and was blocking the drainage pipe for a stream!! Some people seriously have to grow some brains!

Are you serious? This bike is designed to have an 8inch travel fork, and is heavily gusseted and reinforced so it will never snap!

Your a very lucky man. I cant wait to get my hands on a pair to try out. The word from shimano is that these brakes are the most powerful brakes available from shimano(even more powerful than the saints). This is possible because of the servo wave technology that you would be able to see from the back side of the levers. The servo wave also allows for superior pad clearance for a drag free feel. Cant wait to run into you up on the hill Brule so I can give these puppies a squeeze.

I have had one of the new XT shadow derailleurs like this one on my new bike for about a month and a half now. I love the quick clean shifting, no chain slap(unlike the old xt that would make a huge racket from bouncing off the chain stay), ease of setup, and the fact that it gives you at least a quarter of an inch more clearance over any other derailleur out there. The new design is far superior to any thing offered in the past from shimano(and possibly even sram), and unlike the old shimano style derailleurs it uses a direct line for the shifter casing to follow rather than the old loop around type that was a huge pain and get snagged allot. To make a long story short I think you will share my view on this one after you have tried it and would recommend every one looking for a new derailleur to give this one a good hard look.

lol no there is NOT a 24 in the front and a 26 in the back. If there was it would be a recipe for disaster.

The bb seems low because the bike is on an angle. When on flat ground its really not that low.

You could always sell the 888 and buy a 66 or what ever floats your boat. You could probably get 400 for the fork it’s like new, and was bought new from a bike shop a year ago.

To set all you nubes straight the dirt bags are awesome frames (just got one my self) but you should not run a 24 on it. The max travel is 8 inches with a fork that weighs less than 9 pounds. When you put a 24 inch wheel on the bike it rakes out the head tube angle to the equivalent of putting a 10 inch travel fork on the bike adding unnecessary stress on the head tube. If you are in the market for a used dirt bag the price is good considering a new 07 dirt bag with the same specs for $4148 Canadian. So with depreciation 2500 is not bad. But you should remove the 24 and replace it with a 26 to reduce stress on the head tube
